Stephanie’s interest in special education law began in high school during her time working as a nanny for a child with Down Syndrome. As a college student at Villanova University, Stephanie’s passion for students’ education rights grew while volunteering at an inner-city elementary school and while serving on Villanova’s LEVEL club, which is a student-run group formed to bridge the gap between students with various abilities and disabilities. Building on these experiences, Stephanie worked at Advocates for Children as a clinic student and learned about the special education legal process while attending Benjamin Cardozo School of Law.

Before joining the Law Offices of Regina Skyer and Associates in 2021, Stephanie worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department. Stephanie lives in Williamsburg and loves going on runs with her fiancé and black lab, Boomer.
