Ricki’s interest in special education law began when she was a student at Towson University with a major in Deaf Studies. During undergrad Ricki interned with an organization through Maryland School for the Deaf where she designed and conducted presentations to educate parents on laws impacting their child’s education. Also while at Towson University Ricki volunteered at the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism which held programs such as dance and cooking classes.
During law school Ricki was the fundraising chair of the Public Interest Center and helped raise money to fund summer internships in public interest law.
After graduating law school at St. John’s University in 2019 Ricki worked at a law firm litigating insurance matters.
Ricki lives on Long Island and enjoys running and going to the beach in her free time. Ricki will be running the New York City Marathon this year!
