As the son of a speech pathologist and admissions director at a school for special-needs children, Daniel witnessed the incredible impact that special education can have on students at an early age.

Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and his Juris Doctor at Penn State Dickinson Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  While in law school, Daniel earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards after achieving the highest grade in his Objective Legal Writing and Advanced Legal Research classes.  An internship in the legal department at the Pennsylvania School Boards Association triggered his interest in special education advocacy and resulted in Daniel seeking out and completing summer and fall internships at Skyer Law.

Daniel joined Skyer Law full-time after graduating Penn State Dickinson in 2023.  He lives on Long Island and enjoys science fiction and spending time with his family—including his dog, Callie
