Caitriona’s interest in special education law began when she was an undergraduate student at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and was minoring in Child Advocacy. During undergrad, Caitriona interned in multiple places revolving around Child Advocacy and law such as the Children’s Law Center, Bronx Family Court, and Hillside Children’s Center.
After college, Caitriona worked at McLaughlin and Stern, LLP in the matrimonial department as a paralegal and then at Spencer Walsh Law, PLLC also as a paralegal where her interest and passion for special education law grew.
During law school, Caitriona participated in the Education Law clinic where she had an externship at Queens Legal Services in the Education Department and was also a member of the Wilf Impact Center for Public Interest Law where she wrote her capstone on integrating students with disabilities into mainstream classrooms in more effective ways.
After graduating law school at New York Law School in 2023, Caitriona started at Skyer Law.
Caitriona lives in New York City and enjoys running and spending time with her family.
